As a Senior Database Developer
you will be a key Member of the Systems Database Group
responsible for providing overall database development
and support with concentration in backend programming.
The responsibilities of the position will be to develop, design, test, implement,
and maintain complex custom software systems developed
using Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL and various third party libraries.
The PL/SQL Developer will be responsible to properly maintain source code sets
and necessary technical documentations,
and assist the Head DBA in overall database maintenance.
Job Requirements
Must Have:
3-5 years experience in Oracle Highly Proficient in SQL programming using PL/SQL,
Good Database Administration skills
Good communication skills
Good understanding of client/server concepts and methodologies.
Experience in Java API calling database API’s patterns
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to have:
TDD and Agile mind set.
Experience with DB2, MS-SQL, MySQL
JDBC Drivers
DAO mapping apis e.g. Ibatis, Hibernate, custom, etc...
Data Warehousing and OLAP
Performance tuning, profiling...
Database design, logical, physical Database version control, installation, archiving, upgrading
Linux, Unix, Windows Server
Exposure to C++ or Java as a front-end is desirable, but not required, Perl, other scripting languages
